This week’s I Heart Faces challenge is beautiful black and white. This is a photo I took of my Lyla a month or so ago, shortly before her soothies (aka binkies, aka pacifiers!) got a dose of curry powder on them and were forever rejected (very effective solution for a soothie addicted toddler!) I really wanted to capture the drama (and trust me–she was *very* dramatic about her soothies!) of her soothie addiction before she underwent treatment
It’s a little out of the box for me, since not only do I rarely do B&W’s since I’m a color junkie, but this was shot via my first attempt at using lamplight.
